AL Com: emergence of common superhumps?
Dear Colleagues,
A partial preliminary analysis of the May 25 data at Kyoto (by Ishioka
et al.), has shown modulations with a likely period longer than 0.06 d.
This is possibly the first evidence of growing "common" superhumps.
However, the amplitude is still an order of 0.05 mag, and its presence
should be confirmed by later observations (we are very looking forward
to hearing the result by the Brno team :-).
More detailed analysis will be presented by Ishioka-san and Uemura-san.
Regards,
Taichi Kato
