A recent paper by Masetti et al. provides a BVRI sequence in the field of
GRB 020405. I show below coordinates for the stars from the Edinburgh
SuperCOSMOS catalogue, along with V magnitudes and BVRI colors for the stars.
For two stars only B and U data were shown. The I-band data were taken with
a Gunn i filter, and the transformation to Cousins I appears to have been
unsuccessful, with the colors coming out too red if B-V and V-R are taken to
be correct. For star 3, the B-V and V-R colors are inconsistent. The BVR
colors for the remainder look OK.
