[vsnet-sequence 109] QSO sequences



     In the October 2001 issue of the AJ, Gonzalez-Perez et al. provide
UBVRI photometry for field stars near about two dozen active galaxies and
quasars.  Appended below is a significantly trimmed version of the source
data table, obtained from the journal Web site.
     The table is very wide and is in a fairly obvious format.  The columns
'm' and 'n' show the number of measurements and the number of nights,
respectively.  The stars are sorted in order of decresing brightness.
     To make the list more useful I have omitted:

o  all stars where there nominal uncertainty in the V-band photometry
   exceeds 0.030 mag.,
o  individual remaining colors with large errors in any entry,
o  stars lacking V-band data,
o  what little U-band data is presented,
o  stars where only a single color remained after trimming observations
   with large errors,
o  most (but not all) stars observed only once on a single night, 
o  and many galaxies, pairs < 15" apart, and generally crowded stars.

     This process trimmed about a third of the stars from the total
published.  Several groups remain with only a single night of observation,
and these should be treated with caution.
