[vsnet-sequence 46] TV Col sequence

Watanabe-san has asked a a chart or sequence for TV Col. To help
observers I have compiled the following sequence, in my standard
format. It is apparent from this sequence the GSC magnitudes are
about 0.5 magnitude too faint in this field, confirming Watanabe's
observation. In particular Watanabe stated that TV Col seemed near
equal to the magnitude of GSC7059.459, but that GSC7059.459 is brighter
than 13.7 mag. This is true, GSC7059.459 is magnitude 13.16V.

This sequence will suffice for visual observation of TV Col throughout it's
range of variability.

Notes:

1. This sequence is compiled from three separate sources. The brightest
two stars are from Tycho-2, the next four star (stars #3 to #6) are
from Kilmartin, Publ. RASNZ No. 18, 1992, and the four faintest stars
are from Brian Skiff's Loneos file.

2. GSC magnitudes in this field are about 0.5 too faint compared to V
magnitudes.

3. TV Col is a close double star, with the variable being the SE component.
The companion is about magnitude 14.5. The separation is about 10 arcsec.
