The RXTE X-ray lightcurve of Eta Car through June 5 (yes, June 5) is available at http://lheawww.gsfc.nasa.gov/users/corcoran/eta_car/etacar_rxte_lightcurve/ Theres a rise (yes, a rise!) by about 1 cts/s since the June 3 observation (for some reason the June 4 data is not available yet). The reduction used the predicted version of the SAA history which might produce additional uncertainties in the derived background rate, but the derived background rate for this observation is close to the rates for other previous observations. cheers Mike -- *********************************************************** Dr. Michael F.
