I measured the H_alpha magnitude of Nova Sct 03 on 09/03/2003 02:05 UT to be 1.635. This indicates H alpha emission but is rather low for a typical novae. See other H_alpha photometry results of novae and stars on my web page http://hometown.aol.com/dwest61506/page35.html for comparison.
