[vsnet-outburst 1616] AK Cnc outburst confirmed

AK Cnc outburst confirmed
Dear Colleagues,
The Kyoto team (Ishioka et al.) obtained 1-hour time-resolved CCD
photometry of AK Cnc on Feb. 14. The object was at mag 14.0 or possibly
slightly fainter, suggesting that the object may have faded a bit.
the analysis is under way, and will be reported by Ishioka-san.
The present brightness may suggest either the outburst is a normal
outburst, or a precursor to superoutburst. More observations are
strongly encouraged. Data should be sent either to Ishioka-san
(ishioka@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp) or to vsnet-campaign-data directly.
The Kyoto team will observe the target if the outburst continues.
