[vsnet-obs 7956] SW Ursae Majoris in bright outburst

The dwarf nova SW UMA is in a rare outburst as indicated by the
following observation by undersigned:
1997 UT Observation Cl. Chart Seq. Mag. Instrument
Oct. 19.969 961-7;994-5 2 VSNET Tycho 10.4 20.3-cm SCT
This was an independent detection of the outburst and confirms
the report by Mr. G. Hanson [vsnet-alert 1269].
The previous bright outburst (a superoutburst) took place in
April last year.
