My consecutive estimates of V1830 could be linked to
superhumps but I rather expect the 0.2 magnitude change over the
two hour period to be caused by the position angle effect.
V1830 Sgr has moved through zenith during that period and the
apogee is always used aiming at the target to the right hand site of
zenith.
