G'day all,
Here are my OY Car eclipse results for 1997 Mar 30 UT
1) Eclipse minima = 1997 Mar 30 10:19 UT
Duration = 6 mins ( 10:16-10:22 UT )
This eclipse was not well observed due to problems
with my eyepiece fogging up.
2) Eclipse minima = 1997 Mar 30 11:49-11:50 UT
Duration = 7 mins ( 11:46-11:53 UT )
Magnitude range = 11.6-12.1
Had problems with the motor drive tracking while
observing this one.
3) Eclipse minima = 1997 Mar 30 13:20-13:21 UT
Duration = 9 mins ( 13:16-13:25 UT )
Magnitude range = 11.6-12.1
No problems observing this one.
These eclipses are difficult to observe. What's required
is patience, good seeing conditions and preferably
a good tracking system.
Below is a list of my complete observations.
