[vsnet-obs 5368] OY Car eclipse observed

Finally on Mar 30 0115 hrs local time , clouds departed to
allow an uninterrupted observing session of OY Carinae.
Observations began 1997 Mar 29 14:52 UT,ended 16:25 UT.
Results as follows:
Eclipse mimima occured at 1997 Mar 29 16:07-16:08 UT
Eclipse duration from approx. 16:02-16:14 UT
ie. roughly 12 mins.
Magnitude of eclipse : 11.4-11.9
ie. a drop of about 0.5 magnitude.
Assuming a period of 1h30m54s I have made
some predictions for Mar 30 UT.

Comparing my previous attempt at Mar 29 09:50-11:20 UT,
the eclipse occured during a 20 minute cloud interruption.
What bad luck !!!!!
