[vsnet-obs 5277] Recent monitoring of Dwarf Novae.

Dear VSNET observers,

I would to thank all observers who assisted in the monitoring of several
dwarf novae upto and during a recent WHT observing run aiming to study the
spectra of Dwarf Novae Oscillations. These observations proved valuable in
determining the best target object for us to observe by allowing us to
follow the outburst cycles of the possible targets leading up to the run.

The run went fairly well, a few technical problems on the first night
then half the second night and all the third night were spoilt by cloud.
However the data we have obtained is of good quality and much will be
learned from it about the outburst process in dwarf novae.

Once again, many thanks,

Warren Skidmore.
