Forgive my curiosity Mr./Dr. Poyner. Are you a professional or an academic
amateur astronomer? I noticed that you are located in Birmingham. Are your
skies of good quality there? The last time I asked a question I received a
reply from someone in Flagstaff. Am I correct in assuming that there is a
"duty officer" monitoring the email to Kyoto? How does all this vsnet work?
Please let me know when time and opportunity permit.
P.S. How is the excitement in the UK over Hale-Bopp? It's an easy naked eye
object even in the centre of the city here.
