What comparison star did you use? The headlight of a car?
If you readers would like, we are happy to include C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp)
in our semi-real-time WWW light curve or VSNET CV circular (this comet really
deserves such!).
I had an experience my report on the outburst of T Leo (first caught in
Japan?) to our local variable star administrator was mistaken for Comet
Thiele ...
