Observers:
GRL = Bjoern H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instruments: 20.3-cm SCT
(C203); 10x50 binoculars (B10x50), naked eye. Observations from
Dec 27 UT were made from Tryvann, Oslo, Norway (elevation 520 m). From
this location I also observed comet Hale-Bopp (Dec 27.70 UT, m1 = 3.5,
alt. 8.5 deg.). Observing was not possible from my home location due to
fog and low clouds.
