G'day all,
Some observations from the celestial sphere's Better Half :)
All times for 1996 Oct 7. All sequences VSS,RASNZ.

S Aps 12:50 <11.2 still down
RS Tel 12:55 11.1
AI Sco 13:01 10.3
AR Pav 13:11 10.0 <-- brighter than usual
RR Tel 13:28 10.9
RZ Gru 15:21 <12
Also observed plenty of Miras/SR's, Comet Hale-Bopp naked-eye down
to 10 degrees altitude; and finished off with some Magellanic
Tourism.
Justin Tilbrook (Penwortham, South Australia) reports WX Hydri in
outburst; mag 11.3 on Oct 7 11:30 UT.
