I'd like to note that GX Cas is already since 1994 known to be a SU UMa type
dwarf nova, when superhumps were detected by Kato and his team at Ouda
Observatory, Kyoto University, Japan, during the August 1994 superoutburst.

The superhump period of this dwarf nova is 133.92 min, which is among the
longest superhump periods known today in SU UMa stars.
