Please take the present VSNET magnitude as preliminary, since some
inagreement exists between published photoelectric magnitudes of comparison
stars. For the VSNET 11.99 star (west to RX And), The GSPC lists it as P194-S
with V=11.85 and B-V=1.03, while Misselt (1996) gave V=11.91 and B-V=1.08.
This star may be a small amplitude variable (the VSNET magnitude may also
be affected by its red color, but the difference seems to be a little larger
than the color term can explain). Close companions of RX And having bluer
colors seem to be better calibrated.
