Dear RX And-observers,
Please tell me why you (all) estimate RX And at magn. 14.0 ????????
Are you maybe frightened because the chart mentions the magnitude range as
10.6 - 13.6 (old d-chart) or 10.3 - 14.0v (new e-chart) and so 14.7 is
unrealistic ?????
Don't you see that RX is fainter than the 14.5 comp. star very close NW to RX
on the (new) AAVSO e-chart date 7/93 (which you can download from their
ftp-site) ?
You can also check the 2 (!) stars very close to RX on the very recently made
CCD-chart of Mr. T. Kato.
I think if you quote RX as 14.0 you have a combined magnitude of RX, the 14.3
and the 14.9 comparison stars very close to this variable.
In other words : we have here another V705 Cas situation !!!!!!!
I hope you (all) look better next time !!
Regards
Marc
