Comments:
BZ Dra is a poorly studied mira star (no period is given in GCVS4), located
at R.A. = 18h 47.3m, Decl. = +53o 58' (2000.0-position, precessed from the
approximate 1950.0-position given in GCVS4). On Aug. 21.99 UT nothing was
seen to within 3' from the catalogued position. BG Dra is a poorly studied
variable, possibly of type SR, and it appears to be identical with the star
GSC 3552-1432 (RA = 18h 54m 36s, Decl. = +54o 32'.5, J2000.0).

Instruments 8-inch SCT (C203), 10x50 binoculars.
