Tonny: thanks for the "invite" to the V1028Cyg party. If wx conditions
permit, I will tackle 1028 tonight with an observing routine nearly
identical to yours.
I will keep you advised on the outcome. Be advised that the typical
Arizona "monsoon" wx (for this time of year) is predicted to return today
(it is .5 broken at the moment 12:50PM) and I may get shot down. I did
last night. Often I set the telescope tracking the cv and schedule the
camera to take continuous frames throughout the night till twilight. And
the next morning, I see that often 50% of the frames are simply clouded
out. It is frustrating to fight the clouds, which I expect you are well
familiar with.
Anyway, I'll have a go atr this guy this evening if its clear. Joe
also wants a time-series on rzsge, so I am naturally torn between these
two important cv's.
I have your recent data on V1028 in hand and would like to do a
comparison with what I might get. This is good feedback. Let you know...
