ATTENTION : NEVER CORRECT MY DATA FOR FIELD-ORIENTATION
            POSITION-ANGLE EFFECTS/ERRORS !!!
all estimations are (and were in de past) made
horizontally aligned (every single estimation I turn
my diagonal horizontal several times to compare
            the variable with the comp.stars)
this is going for quality observations instead of
quantity (although awards are only presented for quantity)
see: AAVSO Newsletter no 17 page 8-9 (D. Overbeek and
            P. Collins)
