Comments:
The dwarf novae AB Dra, RU Peg and RZ Sge have been seen in outburst. Nova
Cas 1995 remains active with clear night to night variations. The RCB-star
SU Tau has apparently still not recovered to maximum. There was a major
display of noctilucent clouds (NLC) on 1996 Aug 5-6. Observations from
this night were made from Malm, Norway (lat. 64.1 deg. N), others from
Fjellhamar.
Observer: GRL = Bjoern H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway).
Instruments 8-inch SCT (C203), 6-inch reflector (M152), and
10x50 binoculars.
