[vsnet-obs 3252] Does GSC 5585.00556 exist?

G'day all,
I had a look at the reported position for GSC 5585.00556
(15h18m53.6s -09d30'20.5" mag 9.39+/-0.43) this evening.
There was nothing visible down to limiting mag 10.5v.
Either this star really does not exist, or it is an eruptive
variable of some sort. I will take another look on a moonless
night.
