Dear Colleagues,
Eric Broens (observing from the Southern of France) reports a possible
outburst of the CVAP object V630 Cyg. His observations is as follows :
1996 Jul 10.085 UT, 14.2 (0.35-m refl., seq: AAVSO);
Please remark that the classification of V630 Cyg as a SU UMa-type dwarf
nova is still unsure. Therefore, confirmative observations and follow-up
observations are highly encouraged.
V630 Cyg underwent a remarkable outburst in October 1995, when it was
visible at mag 14.2 for one night, then disappeared (<14.9) and again
was in outburst 4 nights later (see CVC 66) - very likely a precursor type
of short outburst followed by a superoutburst -.
V630 Cyg was last reported in outburst on May 23, 1996 (Lasse Jensen,
CBA Denmark) [CVC 96].
Please report your observations on VSNET.
Best regards,
Tonny
