Hans-Goran Lindberg requested information about a star "ND Aur". I think he
means NO Aur (= BD +31 1049), which is listed in the GCVS as type LC, V range
6.10-6.30. I independently detected this star as a variable in 1967, when
using it as a comparison star for Andrews' Star = BD +31 1048. From my visual
observations with binoculars, I believe the range is a few tenths of a
magnitude.
