[vsnet-obs 1310] observation of AW Gem

   Upon alert from W. Dillon, we obtained a four-hour CCD photometric run.
The outburst has been confirmed; a low amplitude (~0.05mag) modulation was
observed, which may reflect the initial development of superhumps.
Due to the variation of the profile, a period was not satifactorily
determined.  Only a rough value of 0.07 day can be given at this stage.
QPOs with smaller amplitudes and a time-scale of 5 min were also detected.

   Follow-up observations are encourgaed.
