| Earlier this month, on September 3, 1995, Bill Worraker, Didcot, UK
| and some other observers reported a small brightening of IP Peg
| (about mag. 14.6).
S. Takahashi (VSOLJ) has confirmed that observed times by Bill Worraker
correspond to the expected orbital humps (phase 0.7-0.9). Takahashi also
reports he observed IP Peg at mv=14.8 on Aug. 29.605 (cf. vsnet-obs message),
which also corresponds to the expected phase of an orbital hump. Therefore
we should check the orbital phases before interpreting 'bright estimates'
of high-inclination dwarf novae.
