[vsnet-obs 303] rapid decay of V725 Aql

  D. Nogami and S. Masuda at Ouda Station relay that V725 Aql (see vsnet-
alert messages concerning the new identification) has entered a rapid
decay phase. They provide following preliminary magnitude estimates.

    mid-UT V-C S.D. N band approx. V-mag
  -------------------------------- -------------
  (comparison GSC 13.0)
  950308.829 0.524 0.029 3 V 13.5
  950311.854 0.604 0.048 5 V 13.6
  950313.850 0.901 0.035 2 V 13.9
  950314.826 0.999 0.067 45 V 14.0

  (comparison GSC 11.9)
  950314.825 2.183 0.047 43 V 14.1
  950316.844 2.481 0.070 5 V 14.4

The present observations seem to establish the dwarf-nova nature of
the object in question. The large outburst amplitude (~6 mag) and the
long outburst duration may indicate that V725 Aql is a 'TOAD' (tremendous
outburst amplitude dwarf nova). We welcome follow-up observations and
future monitor by visual observers.
