[vsnet-nl 1] New list: vsnet-nl
New list: vsnet-nl
(Corrected version, please disregard the preceding one)
Dear Colleagues,
We have set up a new list, vsnet-nl, as a sub-list of vsnet-alert
and partly other recent lists. The new list treats noteworthy activities
of CVs, which are not covered by vsnet-outburst, vsnet-polar and
vsnet-campaign-nova. The list is mainly devoted to fading of VY Scl-type
systems and other types of transient phenomena, and is equvalent to
vsnet-outburst in dwarf novae.
event report regular recent data summary
-----------------------------------------------------------------
dwarf novae vsnet-outburst vsnet-recent vsnet-cvcirc
novae vsnet-campaign-nova vsnet-recent vsnet-cvcirc
polars vsnet-polar vsnet-recent vsnet-cvcirc
other CVs vsnet-nl vsnet-recent vsnet-cvcirc
The list is rather strictly restricted for the follow-up usage.
Important notifications (such as discovery of outburst/fading, dramatic
changes, important progress, call for urgent observations etc.)
should be also directed to vsnet-alert as before. Individual (regular)
observations should be sent to vsnet-obs as before. For discussions of
general interest, please use vsnet-chat. Targets of the VSNET Collaboration
will be treated in vsnet-campaign. VSNET administrators may forward
such messages to other VSNET lists when necessary.
The initial list of vsnet-nl includes members of vsnet-alert.
