Originally found by John Greaves in Tom Droege's data, GSC 396-1222 proved to be a long period EA type eclipsing binary from TASS (http://vsnet.tass-survey.org) and ASAS3 data (Pojmanski, G. 2002AcA....52..397P, http://archive.princeton.edu/~asas/). The following ephemeris fits the data until now: JDMin=2452426.75 + 26.989 E Magnitude V=11.8-13.1, V-Ic=0.88, duration of eclipse less than 44 hours. There is still a slight possibility that the actual period is half the given value. In that case the eclipse takes less than 14 hours. A secondary eclipse has not yet been positively identified. More information, including a phase plot of this star is available here: http://wiki.tass-survey.org/tass/view.do?nodeId=Tass&contentId=TassJ164601.6%2B071850 Patrick __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
