Dear colleagues, photometry of the field of Hen 2-442 was searched for new variable stars as outlined in earlier emails (cf. for instance vsnet-newvar 1857). 1 new variable star was found. It wasn't noticed in my search earlier this year because it was hidden in bunch of false alarms. Further measurements has also been accumulated. Pej 022 RA = 19:39:22.8, Dec = +26:31:54 (J2000, measured using Astrometrica+USNO A2.0 on one of my images). The star isn't included in USNO A2.0. The star is quite red. Following are differentials against GSC 2146:2392: 20020330.0479 0.30Ic 20020406.0661 0.32Ic 20020603.9567 0.13Ic 20020705.8706 0.17Ic 20020720.8479 0.21Ic 20020727.9658 0.24Ic 20020819.9609 0.28Ic 20020830.8851 0.32Ic 20021026.8587 0.32Ic 20021231.7585 0.33Ic 20030105.6973 0.32Ic 20030602.9334 0.21Ic 20030608.9457 0.20Ic 20030617.9380 0.19Ic 20030620.9408 0.20Ic 20030708.9598 0.16Ic 20030714.9221 0.15Ic 20030719.9509 0.13Ic 20030804.9392 0.10Ic 20030806.9081 0.13Ic 20020330.0527 2.38Rc 20020406.0692 2.28Rc 20020603.9600 1.97Rc 20020705.8724 2.03Rc 20020720.8514 2.19Rc 20020727.9651 2.17Rc 20020819.9602 2.18Rc 20020830.8842 2.17Rc 20021026.8579 2.25Rc 20030105.6965 2.31Rc 20030602.9326 2.08Rc 20030608.9450 2.11Rc 20030617.9371 2.12Rc 20030620.9400 2.15Rc 20030708.9591 2.00Rc 20030714.9213 2.04Rc 20030719.9502 2.02Rc 20030804.9384 1.93Rc 20030806.9074 1.99Rc Best regards, Ondrej Pejcha
