[vsnet-newvar 1835] Variables in the field of V1413 Aql

Dear Colleagues,

the field of V1413 Aql was measured on 9 nights in 2002
through VRI filters at the Brno observatory. The images were
processed automatically with respect to a comparison star
measured by Henden (Henden and Munari 2000). Although V1413
Aql itself didn't show much variability (~0.1 mag in all
filters), there are two other interesting stars.

First one is NSV 24674. The variability is confirmed and
amplitudes are 0.2, 0.4, 0.4 mag in VRI bands, respectively.
The star is quite red so it is probably another small
amplitude semiregular variable. The nightly averages of
magnitudes are here:

The field photometry was searched for new variable stars
using algorithm described e.g. in Pojmanski, 2000
(astro-ph/0005236). GSC 1585 0685 has been revealed as a new
variable star. Amplitudes are 0.34, 0.51 and 0.64 mag in the
VRI bands, respectively. The light curve and its red colour
suggest it is a SR again. The nightly averages of magnitudes
are here:
