Dear Taichi,
Thanks for the 2MASS advice. It killed all candidate counterparts, all
five of them!
They turned out to be bright 2MASS objects, hidden away on each field
image I got my hands on, except that of last night's observation.
For inspecting unfiltered observations, it is so necessary to have NIR
data.
I'll send you the image later.
