[vsnet-newvar 1558] GSC 2679.1458: a variable star?

Dear Colleagues,
The star GSC 2679.1458 in the same field of the variable V1823 Cyg seems to
be variable itself. The Simbad database doesn't show any variable object at
those coordinates.
Data about this object are the following:

GSC 2679.1458 = USNO A2.0 1200.14659649
R.A.= 20h 11m 48s,18 (2000)
Decl. =+34° 37' 30",4 (2000)

Comparison (C) and the check stars (K1, K2) used are:
C = USNO A2.0 1200.14681215  (Mag.R 10.70) = TYCHO 2 2679.0670.1 (Mag.V
10,94 B-V 0,28);

K2 = USNO A2.0 1200.14661171 (Mag.R 13,20) = TYCHO 2 2679.1388.1 (Mag.V
