With regards to CGCS 1749

being possibly more variable the bluer you look, and virtually constant
in the far-red.
Could anyone with experience comment on this with respect to the
behaviour of RCB stars, thinking generally with respect to their
non-fading states?
I'm only picking up general throw-away comments from books and online
literature searches for articles aren't going too well either.
