With regards to CGCS 1749 (http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/vsnet-newvar/msg01458.html) being possibly more variable the bluer you look, and virtually constant in the far-red. Could anyone with experience comment on this with respect to the behaviour of RCB stars, thinking generally with respect to their non-fading states? I'm only picking up general throw-away comments from books and online literature searches for articles aren't going too well either. Thanks John John Greaves UK
