I didn't make any identification but to search for photometry !! In spite of the faint NSV range, PEP(V) magnitudes and even Tycho 2 magnitude (V= 8.91) are brighter. Actually the star is included in a list of VV Cep-type stars observed photometrically in Miroscnichenko and Ivanov, 1993, from which the NSV magnitudes comes from. The color of the star was measured between 1.57 and 1.76 (B-V). But the star was first classified as VV Cep by Barbier as early as 1971. So the amplitude is greater than catalogued: 8.8 - 9.3 V at least. Regards, Sebastian. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://vsnet.grisoft.com).
