People should please note that this catalogue only covers objects within
+/- 6 degrees of the Galactic equator, plus a handful of objects in a
section of sky that IRAS was not able to cover.
Coincidentally, I was thinking of doing a tdf for Guide for this catalogue,
but decided against given the limited spatial extent and the online systems
available to use it.
The IRSA server at IPAC allows investigation of this and other IR
catalogues through the "Gator" interface at
http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/applications//Gator/ , with the MSX catalogue
being the last in the table on that page. This is the actual "home" of the
MSX catalogue.
