Dear colleagues! I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (Brh V65), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables. In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields. The frames are processed automatically. Instruments: CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered) Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) New variable star: new Brh V65 081546.8 +162157 (J2000) 11.1 11.5 (CCD) ? comments: Brh V65: GSC 1377 969 Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 1377 370 (11.5 mag), which was checked to be constant. Brh V65 is likely a short period variable, type and period still unknown. object YYMMDD(UT) mag (CCD) code Brh V65 001221.0986 11.18 Brh.BAV Brh V65 001223.0708 11.21 Brh.BAV Brh V65 001224.0646 11.18 Brh.BAV Brh V65 010114.9986 11.45 Brh.BAV Brh V65 010116.1007 11.13 Brh.BAV Brh V65 010118.9958 11.27 Brh.BAV Brh V65 010210.9451 11.48 Brh.BAV Regards, Klaus Bernhard Klaus Bernhard Kafkaweg 5 A-4030 LINZ AUSTRIA kl.bernhard@aon.at http://mitglied.tripod.de/KlausBernhard/index.html
