US3175 This object, originally selected as a faint blue object by Usher, was selected as a possible variable because it was recorded very bright on GSC. The identifications follow: GSC4699.613 024810.50 -012627.7 (2000.0) 14.69 0 USNO0825.00653188 024810.516 -012628.02 (2000.0) 13.6 15.3 2MASS 024810.552 -012629.07 (2000.0) 12.990 12.702 12.650 (The precessed J2000.0 coordinates of the original position are 024810.5 -012629) The B-magnitude in the original paper was 19.8. The object was proposed as a possible QSO, but recorded here for possible future monitoring or clarification of the variability(?). Regards, Taichi Kato
