Dear colleagues! I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV60), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables. In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields. The frames are processed automatically. Instruments: CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered) Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) New variable star: new BeV60 191439.6 +035040.2 (J2000) 10.9 11.2 (CCD) comments: BeV60: GSC 471 2133 Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 471 2309 (11.1 mag), which was checked to be constant. A change in brightness of about 0.2 mag during 1.5 hours (000901.8541-000901.9166) suggests a short period variable, type and period still unknown. object YYMMDD(UT) mag (CCD) code BeV60 000706.9888 11.15 BRH.BAV BeV60 000717.9645 10.99 BRH.BAV BeV60 000722.9736 11.06 BRH.BAV BeV60 000731.9625 11.18 BRH.BAV BeV60 000801.9576 10.94 BRH.BAV BeV60 000809.9722 11.11 BRH.BAV BeV60 000811.9361 10.85 BRH.BAV BeV60 000814.9381 10.96 BRH.BAV BeV60 000819.9291 11.06 BRH.BAV BeV60 000820.9319 11.21 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.8541 10.96 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.8555 11.00 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.8569 10.99 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.9138 11.16 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.9152 11.15 BRH.BAV BeV60 000901.9166 11.16 BRH.BAV Regards, Klaus Bernhard Klaus Bernhard Kafkaweg 5 A-4030 LINZ AUSTRIA e-mail: kl.bernhard@aon.at
