[vsnet-newvar 275] New Bernhard variable (BeV36)

Dear colleagues!

I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV36),
which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new
variables.
In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey
fields.
The frames are processed automatically.

Instruments:
CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered)
Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain)

New variable star:
new BeV36 062454.0 N101405 (J2000) 11.7 12.1(CCD)

comments:
BeV36: GSC 736 1615
Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 736 765 (11.9 mag),
which was checked to be constant.

Data analysis was made by Chris Lloyd, UK. His comment:
GSC 736.1615 shows a single series of frequencies around 2.800
cycles/day and its one-day aliases.
This star is probably a weakly eclipsing variable
and the best period is probably 1.256 or 0.555 days (or twice these).
