[vsnet-newvar 173] New Bernhard variable (BeV31)

Dear colleagues!

I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV31),
which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new
variables.
In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey
fields.
The frames are processed automatically.

Instruments:
CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered)
Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain)

New variable star:
new BeV31 054407.8 N100542 (2000) 11.9 12.1 (CCD) SR

comments:
BeV31: GSC 718 685
Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 718 274 (11.7 mag),
which was checked to be constant.
The change in brightness and the red colour
(USNO A2.0: r:11.6 mag, b: 14.1 mag) suggest a SR-variable.
