Dear colleagues, New variable star discovery by the MISAO Project (MisV0779). MisV0779 R.A. 21h09m38s.00 Decl. +38o12'45".7 (2000.0) Mag. 12.8C-14.2C Type ? = GSC3168.2233 21 09 38.01 +38 12 45.4 12.87 = USNO-A2.0_1275.14855477 21 09 37.999 +38 12 45.73 12.3R 14.0B http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/misao/data/MisV/MisV0779.gif MisV0779 19990715.75656 141C Mis MisV0779 19990715.75700 142C Mis MisV0779 19991121.49236 129C Mis MisV0779 19991121.49282 128C Mis It was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new variable stars from images taken by KenIchi Kadota, Ageo City, Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida. V1229 Cyg is 1.5 arcmin from MisV0779. No star brighter than 14.7 mag was detected at the catalogued position of V1229 Cyg on our unfiltered CCD images. V1229 Cyg is classified as an ecliptic variable star. Considering the large distance, MisV0779 is probably another new variable object.
