Dear colleagues, New variable star discovery by the MISAO Project (MisV0774). MisV0774 R.A. 20h15m54s.14 Decl. +51o51'34".9 (2000.0) Mag. 10.8C-13.2C Type ? http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/misao/data/MisV/MisV0774.gif MisV0774 19990803.70483 132C Mis MisV0774 19990803.70527 132C Mis MisV0774 19991121.43522 108C Mis MisV0774 19991121.43568 108C Mis It was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new variable stars from images taken by KenIchi Kadota, Ageo City, Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida. V559 Cyg is 1.4 arcmin from MisV0774. No star brighter than 14.6 mag was detected at the catalogued position of V559 Cyg on our unfiltered CCD images. However, considering the faint photographic magnitude range in the GCVS, between 16.2 mag and fainter than 17.6 mag, and the large distance, MisV0774 is probably another new variable object. Please see the URL below for the MISAO Project and the PIXY system. http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/misao/ -- Seiichi Yoshida seiichi@muraoka.info.waseda.ac.jp http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/index.html
