[vsnet-lpv 62] S Per long term behaviour

Dear All,

for purposes of article for MEDUZA Circular I have analyzed
long term light curve of S Per from AFOEV database. At the
first sight, light curve is dominated by two states: high
amplitude (8 - 13 mag) and low amplitude (around 9.5 mag,
just beginning). Using standard Fourier fit I found period
of light changes to be 810 days. Quick look into the phased
light curve reveals interesting fact that changes of
brightness doesn't disappear in the low amplitude states and
they also keep their phase.
   Star's mean amplitude is becoming fainter, which results
into the very-long-period peak in the Fourier spectrum;
recent decrease of amplitude appeared at 10.5 mag.

Best regards,
