Dear Dr. Kato,
We already mentioned, in our previous message, that the GCVS type and
period on V854 Oph were probably not correct. The star seems to be not
a mira but rather a considerably more interesting large amplitude red
variable. So, further observations are strongly encouraged to investigate
V854 Oph and classify it correctly.
