Dear Colleagues,
I suggest to check this too:
http://archive.stsci.edu/cgi-bin/dss_search?v=2r&r=07+37+59&d=-25+56+51&e=J2000&h=15.0&w=15.0&f=gif&c=none&fov=NONE&v3=
a RED plate from the second generation sky survey. There are several
stars all around: in order to identify more clearly the suspect, accurate astrometry is
strongly urged. Please note that USNO A2.0 has this star few arcseconds away from the
reported position (07h 37m 58s; -25d 56m 51s):
USNO A 0600.06939705 RA=07 37 58.43; Delta=-25 56 46.8
mag(R)=13.6 B-R=1.7 mag.
Accurate astrometry is strongly urged.
Regards,
Gianluca
