Brian's hunch (vsnet-id 778, 780, et al, March 2003) that Y Vel = NSV 4499 with a -1 minute RA error is correct.  I am at the Harvard plate stacks now, and I have checked Luyten's plate pair for Bruce Region 246.  He marked only two variables on this plate pair, A = Y Vel and B = TZ Vel.  There are no marks near the published position for NSV 4499.

Side note if anyone is interested: DP Vel = GSC 8584.1176.  The variability is apparent on the plate pair blinked by Luyten, but he apparently missed it.
