B-) Well, the exact specification would better be "GRB_radio_afterglow J104449.9595+213117.438" ;-) However, this example well illustrates why "object-class specific" astrnonomical name is more informative. The names such as GSC or USNO have lesser advantage in this regard; they simply convey the information that the object was postieivly recorded (likely point-like source) on some photographic surveys.
